The Fourth International Student Alumni Entrepreneurship and Employment Experience Sharing Session

July.13,2025     Hits:

On July 12, the School of International Education successfully held the fourth international student alumni entrepreneurship and employment experience sharing session of 2025. More than a simple alumni reunion, the event served as a practical platform that fully interprets the diversified values of international education and builds a bridge for pragmatic Sino-foreign cooperation, delivering far-reaching significance beyond routine campus activities.

Saddam, an international student alumnus from Yemen, was invited as the distinguished keynote speaker. Saddam runs a well-established family enterprise in Keqiao District, a renowned cluster for the textile industry. During the sharing session, he comprehensively introduced the full operation process of his family’s textile business, covering market positioning, supply chain management and the development of international trade channels. From a first-person perspective, he shared valuable experience in meeting trade challenges and expanding business globally by leveraging connections accumulated during his studies in China, in-depth understanding of the local business environment, and cross-cultural communication competencies. His vivid and detailed presentation transformed theoretical international trade into authentic and practical business cases for participating students.

The sharing session achieved remarkable results beyond expectations. It fully demonstrated that international student alumni are valuable assets connecting the university and the world, and their successful experiences serve as the most vivid teaching resources for current students.

The School of International Education stated that it will continue to organize such themed activities in the future, build a closer alumni network to empower the growth of enrolled international students, and actively explore new models for integrated development of educational cooperation and local industrial development.
