On the evening of November 18, a targeted HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, Chinese Proficiency Test) academic tutoring session for international students was successfully held in Classroom 2-101 of Qingteng Residential College (the School of Internationa Education (SIE).
Led by instructor Wang Qiying, the program is tailored to address common difficulties encountered by overseas students during their HSK preparation and improve their overall practical proficiency in Chinese.
Adopting a dual model of themed lectures and on-the-spot Q&A, the tutoring focuses on the three HSK exam sections: listening comprehension, reading and writing. Apart from an in-depth analysis of frequently-tested knowledge points and exam proposition patterns, the session incorporates exercises based on authentic previous exam papers. Through in-class drills, participants learn practical problem-solving approaches and score-boosting skills to strengthen their test-taking capabilities.
