On the afternoon of November 28, 2025, the School of International Education (SIE) successfully hosted a special lecture on safety targeting international students. Police officers from Beihai Police Station of Yuecheng District Public Security Sub-bureau and the Urban Brigade of Shaoxing Public Security Bureau Traffic Management Detachment were invited to deliver a vivid safety training session with real cases.

At  the lecture, Yang Yuqi, a police officer from the Urban Brigade gave a presentation on traffic safety. She focused on China’s traffic laws and regulations, road signs, as well as safety guidelines for riding electric bicycles, walking and taking public transport. By showing pictures of severe traffic accidents, she illustrated legal rules with real cases and explained the grave consequences of traffic violations. She urged all international students to abide by Chinese laws and regulations, foster the awareness of "civilized travel and safe commuting", and develop good traffic habits.
